Two In-depth Studies, Leviticus and Numbers, Begin This Fall*   Study of the 'Old' illuminates and deepens your understanding of the 'New'!

Leviticus, the third book of the Old Testament, is 27 chapters long and is often the stopping point as Christians set out with a resolve to read the Bible from cover to cover. Join us at 5:15 pm every Wednesday in Room 116 beginning September 10 for 42 weeks of an action-packed, eye-opening, interdisciplinary study of this exciting book from a Hebrew perspective. You will come away with a deeper understanding of the enduring love that God himself offers you in the perfect sacrificial gift of His very beloved Son!

Numbers, the fourth book of the Old Testament, is 36 chapters long and chronicles the amazing patience and protection of God, our loving Father, in the face of the disobedience and even rebellion of His children. Join us at 8:30 a.m. every Friday in Room 116 beginning September 12 for 36 weeks of interdisciplinary study from a Hebrew perspective.

*For both studies, the only textbook is your own Bible, any version will do.  Sharing a Bible is not suggested; each person may want to bring their own.  If you want to take notes, you can bring a notebook or just write in the margins of your Bible.  The lessons are structured as a lecture (about an hour in length) with visuals displayed on a large screen TV.  Because the lessons are on-line, it's easy to keep up from your own computer if you need to miss a lesson.  For more information, contact Nancy Palmer at 704-458-5662 or  (Note: It is not necessary to have studied Genesis or Exodus to take these classes, but some familiarity with these books would be recommended.)

The Born Again Beaders, a small group ministry of RHCC, hopes their “Soncatchers” will bring happiness and joy in the knowledge that God loves people deeply and wishes them peace today and always.  If you would like to join the group for fellowship and jewelry making, they meet in the library every Thursday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. For information about the group, bead or jewelry donations or about obtaining a “Soncatcher,” please call the church office at 803-831-1615.

Shawl Ministry - Do You Knit or Crochet? Would You Like to Learn??  If so, we would love to have you join us. We are the RHCC Prayer Shawl Ministry—a group that meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in Room 116 in the Sanctuary Building. We work on and bless the shawls and pray for the recipients. We hope that they wrap, enfold, give comfort, solace and warmth to those who receive them. You may become involved by making shawls or by requesting a shawl for a friend or loved one. For further information, please contact Anne Nielsen at 831-1086.

Community Bible Study -We invite you to join our Ladies Day Class on Wednesdays beginning September 3rd at 9:15 a.m. as we study the book of  Romans. The 9 month course basically follows the public school schedule. We are an interdenominational Bible study for the community, a place for women of all ages to be nurtured, encouraged and challenged in God’s word. Open to women of all faiths and knowledge levels. Each meeting includes personal study group, group discussion, teaching and written commentary. For more information, please contact Michelle Locklear at 803-810-9590 or by email at
