MINISTRIES

GRIEFSHARE PROGRAM - Have you recently lost a loved one? Are you still acutely mourning the passing of a spouse, a parent, a friend or a child even though it's been years since it happened? At some point in our lives, we all have to face the sadness that comes after the death of a loved one. This group is designed to provide practical and spiritual means by which grief can be managed, shared and even transformed into a stronger hope in Christ's resurrection. If you or anyone you know is suffering with grief following the passing of a loved one, please contact Pastor Jason at 803-831-1615 for more information on this new program at our church. The next program date will be announced.
CARE AND KINDNESS MINISTRY - We provide support for church members during times of grief, illness or other hardship. We are a contact for shut-ins and others who may be confined to a nursing home, assisted living or rehabilitation center. Activities of the team include visiting, phone calls, preparing and distributing goody packages at holidays, sending cards and helping with meals. On occasion, team members have provided transportation to appointments. The team works closely with the Board of Deacons and new members are welcome!
BORN AGAIN BEADERS - A small group ministry of RHCC, hopes their Soncatchers will bring happiness and joy in the knowledge that God loves people deeply and wishes them peace today and always. If you would like to join the group for fellowship and jewelry making, they meet in the library every Thursday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - Do You Knit or Crochet? Would You Like to Learn?? If so, we would love to have you join us. We are the RHCC Prayer Shawl Ministry—a group that meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in Room 116 in the Sanctuary Building. We work on and bless the shawls and pray for the recipients. We hope that they wrap, enfold, give comfort, solace and warmth to those who receive them. You may become involved by making shawls or by requesting a shawl for a friend or loved one.
